    The Position

    As Patient Services Manager, you will have both strategic and tactical focus. With previous experience, you will work closely with medical, marketing, commercial, regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, finance and legal in UAE affiliate, leading strategy development and implementation and ongoing optimization of patient support solutions. You will be confident in leading cross functional project teams, developing and presenting strategic initiatives and making recommendations for ongoing process and program development. As a proactive individual, leading and contributing to projects and initiatives supporting patients within related therapy areas with the broader internal and external team you will be instrumental in maximizing positive patient outcomes for patients prescribed Novo Nordisk medications.

    Your main accountabilities:

    • Development of Patient Support Solutions strategy.
    • Manage the ongoing development and optimization of complex, strategic cross-functional projects focused on delivering best-in-class patient support solutions and tools.
    • Lead processes for selecting, scoping, prioritizing, and executing projects to deliver objectives and continuous improvements. Facilitate analysis of opportunities and risks, and identify impacts and recommendations to the business.
    • Design and establish KPIs, sustainable metrics, dashboards and systems for tracking and reporting of value proposition resulting from continuous improvement.
    • Manage internal stakeholder relationships (e.g., Medical, marketing, market access, PV, MCE, commercial operations), External Stakeholders (e.g., Local Authorities, Healthcare institutions, Medical and Patients societies) and expectations.
    • Design and development of smart and efficient processes to optimize workflows.
    • Development and timely management of budgets within agreed limits.
    • Ensure compliance of all patient support solutions across all internal and external aspects.
    • Lead, manage, coach, and develop patient educators’ team.
    • Facilitating the timely review of materials with regards to content and compliance.

    Qualifications

    To be successful in this role, you need to have University degree, preferably related to Life sciences or Pharmacy graduate or relevant medical degree.

    To be effective in this role, we expect you to have:

    • Minimum of 3 years industry experience in patient support program, patient education or market access, with strategic and tactile ownership of broad range of projects/programs ·
    • Strong project management experience, attention to detail, analytical capability, execution, and follow-through.
    • Strategic thinking and strategy development, with preferable leadership capabilities/ people management experience.
    • Insight into the workings of cross functional divisions including Marketing, Commercial, Regulatory and Legal, and proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to drive business results.
    • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Expertise and understanding of the prescription landscape for diabetes and obesity medications is desired.
    • Relevant budgetary responsibility.
    • Fluency in written and spoken English
    • Exceptional customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently and negotiate with all levels of the organization ·
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Strong leadership and ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders to set direction, align work effort and ensure outstanding execution.
    • MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) & preferable Project Management software.

    CMRPV is a dynamic and diverse department consisting of highly qualified professionals who are responsible for conducting real-world evidence, interactions with medical professionals and regulatory authorities for current therapy areas such as Diabetes, Obesity, and Rare Diseases as well as other related current and new therapy areas. Medical affairs are the core leaders in driving scientific exchange with health care professionals in addition to being the bridge between relevant stakeholders and delivering insights across the functions, ensuring medical compliance to ultimately meet Novo Nordisk’s promise, improving patients’ lives. Regulatory and PV (Pharmacovigilance) strive to ensure the best and the fastest strategies for New Drug applications and maintain licenses to operate besides delivering PV excellence, audit, and inspection readiness.
