We are looking for a talented experienced Sales & Operations Specialist to join the team in Dubai.

As S&OP Specialist you’ll be responsible to optimize the value chain relationships within the company to deliver value and provide transparency to the organization about monthly demand plans, constraints, and opportunities. You will also ensure fulfilment of customers’ orders and work closely with project teams to optimize network inventory and production, integration of new businesses, and new product launches.

Your ‘day to day’

• Work closely with country managers, brand managers, and finance, to analyze trends, understands market intelligence align on-demand pipeline, and new launches, and populate a Short and Mid-term supply planning requirement in line with the S&OP process.
• Maintain a continuous improvement mindset by improving planning approach, collaborating with relevant partners in an effort to work towards Zero Loss: reducing exposure to damaged materials, finished goods, aging inventory, out of stocks, and minimizing expedited shipments mode.
• Coordinate end-to-end order lifecycle in a timely and accurate manner including production plan to order availability, transportation, documentation, and receipt by destination- in compliance with internal policies and quality systems. Provide periodic visibility as it seems necessary.
• Engage actively in the S&OP process and improvements areas to support the maturity and journey transformation to IBP. Lead the Demand Review Meetings for your markets
• Lead demand and supply exceptions related to assigned markets by running what-if scenarios, proactively looking for solutions, and anticipating business impact. Analyse and effectively communicate relevant information to enable decision-making.
• Publish and maintain important metrics on monthly basis, run root cause analysis, and suggest corrective actions. Own Operations KPIs and work on glide path to achieve excellence (I.e FCA, FCBias, Cost & Service KPIs)
• Develop strong relationship with commercial teams and distributors to deliver against business objectives by continuously reviewing and improving processes to deliver tangible benefits.
• Play a key role in the deployment of planning tools such as Demand Sensing, DRP and support value creation projects such as Cost to Serve and Network Optimization

Who we’re looking for

• Strong business acumen and understanding of cost management
• Able to work with diverse teams in a project-based organization
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and data-driven thinking, ability to translate complex data to meaningful insights.
• Outstanding collaboration and communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exposure to SAP and E2Open Tools is a plus
• Excellent command of English is a must, and fluency in Arabic is a strong asset
• You have prior work experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in the Middle East with strong distributor/stakeholder management
• You have minimum 5 years of professional experience in supply chain and/or logistics.
