Are you an experienced professional in handling immigration processes? EPAM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Immigration Specialist to be based in Dubai and play a crucial role in handling visa, work, renewals, and residence permit applications in the UAE region.

  • Core Responsibilities may include but not be limited to
    • Prepare and process visa, work, and residence permit applications for employees, candidates, and their family members, including initial applications, visa renewals, and maintenance of status, for the UAE region
    • Manage MOFA attestation of employee’s academic degree for skilled work permit, marriage certificate and birth certificate of employee’s dependents
    • Assist with the immigration matters of employees in Qatar and Saudi Arabia
    • Handle the preparation of applications for visa, work, and residence permit cancellations when employees leave the company and the country
    • Respond to employee queries regarding visa, work permits, and passport-related matters
    • Assist the Talent Mobility department in issuing necessary entry permits for customer sites in the country and arranging related materials, if required
    • Provide comprehensive information and ad hoc assistance within agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
    • Maintain employees visa, work permit, residence visas files, including case trackers, for Middle East mobility stakeholders
    • Assist employees from other subsidiaries visiting the UAE on business trips by arranging entry visas if required
    • Handle all affairs relating to government ministries, free zone authorities, immigration departments, and embassies for relevant tasks
    • Manage immigration portals top-ups with the assistance of Finance
  • Other Domains
    • Assist the sales team in preparing and legalizing authorization letters, and provide Arabic translations of offers and other documents as needed
    • Prepare necessary documents for obtaining and applying for commercial licenses for the company, ensuring timely renewal of the same
    • Prepare necessary documents and apply for company’s P. O. Box renewals
    • Manage company transactions with banks, including cash and cheque deposits, as and when needed
    • Prepare and apply for salary certificates, NOCs for business visas of employees

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in English (B2+ or higher)
  • Knowledge of the Arabic is a must
  • Ability to work independently and take own initiative by proposing new routines and seeking proactive solutions to problems
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
  • Ability to manage conflict resolution
  • Ability to be neutral and confidential and deal with sensitive information. A high level of confidentiality is required
  • Ability to build and maintain successful, trusting relationships with global and local stakeholders
  • Strong customer service orientation including a friendly, helpful, and professional demeanor
  • Proven organizational and analytical skills, attention to details
  • Cultural agility, high degree of empathy and ability to manage ambiguity
