SUMMARY

The Lender Success Specialist role is responsible for end-to-end communication between The Savings Group (TSG) and Lender partners.  Additionally, the role will be responsible for first response to assigned lender/customer escalations and internal communications concerning title processes via inbound/outbound calls and email communication.  This role will maintain a cadence and facilitate lender calls on an ongoing basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include achieving positive results in the following key areas:

  • Maintain a schedule for assigned lender calls and provide regular reporting on the outcome of lender calls.
  • Process titles work submitted via various state-partner portals as needed.
  • Process escalated titles transactions, including rejections and aged accounts.
  • Work call/email queues under our established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Keep up to date on all federal, state, county, local, AUTOPAY statutes, regulations, and policies as it pertains to the titling of motor vehicles.
  • Communicate with internal groups to assist in any escalations or title related questions.
  • Be responsible for the end-to-end communication flow for assigned accounts.
  • Work lender specific reporting and deliver by the assigned deadlines.
  • Make recommendations on process changes and improvements as needed for The Savings Group or the Titles Department.
  • Responsible to communicate closed transactions to internal teams when communicated by the lender.
  • Work in collaboration with other internal TSG teams including Lender Services and TSG Success team.
  • Once identified, responsible for starting the escalation process on escalated transactions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned as business requires.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience:
    • External Candidate: One (1) year motor vehicle titling experience. Special consideration for all 50-state titles knowledge.
    • Internal Candidates: 6 Months of TSG Title Department experience preferred.
    • Special Consideration for previous call center experience.
    • Special consideration for previous lender relationship building.
    • Ability to interpret DMV statues, policies and procedures that pertain to the titling of motor vehicles.
    • Task and goal oriented.
  • Language/Communication/Interpersonal: Excellent organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and all levels of management.
  • Analytical: Detailed-oriented with exceptional organizational skills, ability to prioritize and work independently. Strong reasoning and critical thinking skills.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Technical: Intermediate level with Microsoft Office, keyboarding/computer skills, heavy computer and phone usage. Knowledge of general office equipment (i.e., copy machine, fax machine.
  • Other: High level of personal motivation, professionalism, and integrity required. Ability to exercise discretion and judgment.

COMPENSATION:

This position pays $22 – 28/hr depending on relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities.
