Loss Prevention Specialist
  • Must be 20 years of age.
  • Must have a High School education or equivalent, college degree preferred.
  • Subject to a criminal background check.  Must not have any felony convictions or other convictions relating, in any way, to work which must be performed under this job description, including, but not limited to, sexual misconduct, inappropriate activity with a minor, theft, embezzlement, violence or other factors that might endanger Albertsons, its associates, customers, reputation, or assets.
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret signs, shelf labels and date codes.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instruction.
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in order to compile, submit, and communicate routine statistical data to the Division Loss Prevention office as required.
  • Ability to cooperate and work as a part of a team.
  • Ability to learn, understand and apply the information contained in company manuals, loss prevention policies and practices and apply them to store operations.
  • Ability to handle confrontational situations and respond quickly to incidents as they occur.

District Asset Protection Manager Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience.
Graduate of the Retail Management Certificate Program preferred.
Experience Level:3+ years of experience in Asset Protection / Loss Prevention
FSQA Quality Manager 4-year college degree required in meat science, food science, food technology, food engineering or allied degree.
Minimum 2 years, preferably 5 years in the food industry or working pilot plant or meat lab, with knife and saw experience, or willingness to learn
Knowledge of hazard analysis and risk assessment (chemical, physical and biological) and emerging food borne pathogens and awareness of potential risk management strategies is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong analytical and technical writing skills required.
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams.
Ability to assimilate new information quickly and react positively to new and challenging opportunities.
Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills required
Energetic, self-motivated and the ability to manage multiple projects and work with multifunctional teams.
Office Clerk Sr, Transportation Prior secretarial or clerical training and/or related work experience required. Possess ability to understand and interpret computer reports. General knowledge of EDP applications and computer capabilities helpful. Prior experience with on-line and personal computer applications preferred.
Must be available to work flexible or unusual hours as needed, including weekends. Must be able to work with minimum supervision and possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
