You’ll be helping to build our team of passionate professionals working flexibly to write Arabic content for Twinkl’s emerging UAE market. This team will create a wide range of resources for use throughout Kindergarten and Primary. This will include lesson plans, PowerPoints, display materials, activity sheets, assessments and planning.

Your weekly activity could include:

meeting with other Twinkl writers or the UAE Country Manager to discuss new ideas;
writing content for the UAE market;
editing content for the UAE market;
developing new product ideas with the UAE Country Manager.
UAE is a rapidly growing market for Twinkl. You will have the creative freedom to shape the content we offer to our customers. Our ideal candidate will be going further than writing content by suggesting new product ideas, identifying needs in the UAE teaching community, sharing their experiences and expertise with others. The successful candidate will be vital in ensuring that these ambitious plans for the UAE become a reality. This is a work-from-home, flexible position, and hours can be agreed between you and your line manager to fit around your current commitments.

To succeed in the role, you will:

have experience teaching Arabic at KS2/KS3
have a sound, current working knowledge of the UAE Ministry of Education Curriculum
be passionate about education in the UAE
have an excellent understanding of the needs of Arabic teachers in the UAE
have excellent written Arabic and English skills.
In this role, you will learn:

how to create new teacher content for growing our UAE team, from ideation stage to publication on the site;
remote collaboration, working closely with team members across this market;
how to develop greater commercial awareness so we can understand the needs of those we want to help.
Requirements
We’re are especially interested in anyone who also meets one, or a combination of the following:

Qualifications: Holds a relevant teaching qualification: PGCE, BEd or similar.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ classroom experience, currently teaching or previous classroom teaching in the UAE.
