The Temporary Research Assistant will work on a Multiversity project and requires excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. The Research Assistant must demonstrate the ability to work independently on a task assigned. He/she must demonstrate proficiency in using a computer and other office equipment. This position is NOT located in the United States. One must be willing to relocate to Doha, Qatar.

Required Education and Experience:

• Appropriate bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others

Responsibilities

• The researcher will conduct extensive research on nature-inspired design, materials, manufacturing, and sustainability to gain an in-depth understanding of the program topics and assist the PI in hosting a workshop.

• Collaborating with faculty members from TAMU Qatar and VCU Qatar, the researcher will develop and refine a multidisciplinary curriculum that meets the needs of undergraduate students.

• The researcher will identify and evaluate appropriate resources, including up-to-date textbooks, articles, and online materials, to provide students with a solid foundation in the program’s concepts and skills, and assist the PI in developing measurable learning outcomes and drafting the program proposal for university approval Assist in the planning, organizing, and implementation stages of the project. Perform other duties as assigned.
