– B.Sc. Degree (Engineering degree in mechanical / industrial is preferred) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Planning / Scheduling and minimum 5 years in hydrocarbon upstream industry.
– PMP certificate is preferred, but not mandatory.
– A decent level of knowledge about offshore facilities, different systems in the field, functions, interfaces between these systems. Understand different types of construction works, potential constrains for executing these works offshore, identify predecessors (prerequisites) to execute each activity.
– A decent knowledge about deliverables related to each engineering phase such as conceptual engineering, FEED, detail engineering, construction engineering, and ability to identify the content of each documents, interdependency between them.
– This is to enable to identify the critical deliverables, and to predict the risk of rescheduling of these deliverables on the overall project lifecycle.
– Thorough experience and understanding of planning and scheduling principles and in the use of Primavera P6 software as well as MS office tools.
– Able to identify the interfaces between assigned projects and other projects within E&C and externally with the other entities.
– Strong communication and people development experience. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
– Engineering degree from a recognized university
– 10+ years’ post graduate experience within the oil & gas industry covering similar activities in an Operator environment– Demonstrable experience of delivery of large-scale campaigns/shutdowns management preferably in the petrochemical, refining, Oil & Gas exploration or similar industry.– Significant knowledge of offshore brownfield and greenfield project planning and estimation,
– Significant knowledge of offshore Plant and equipment and maintenance systems
– Well-developed analytical skills with a high attention to detail, efficient and methodic skills.
– Proven coordination abilities and cross team/function interface management.
– Good understanding of oil & gas production systems and experienced in process design of offshore topside facilities
– Good working knowledge of, and experience in, brownfield portfolio management and project maturation processes
