Columbia University USA Jobs Careers Description/Overview

Position Summary

Reporting to the Managers of the Copy Center, the incumbent will be responsible for the timely production of all reprographic work.

Responsibilities

  • He/she will scan and manipulate documents using a variety of different software programs.
  • They will perform task such as: cutting, pasting, creating mail merges, and general digital file management.
  • He/She will retrieve, create, print, and store complex digital documents and be responsible for light equipment maintenance.
  • The candidate will also help with paper deliveries, paper inventory management, bindery work as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of machine operator experience required.
  • Previous experience in a walk-in xerographic environment a must.
  • Successful candidate should have a strong visual orientation and a thorough working knowledge of xerography equipment capabilities and general production methods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some college preferred.
