Compensation: Our target hiring range is $140,000 – $155,000 plus participation in our Annual Bonus Program with eligibility for $12,000 bonus. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience and skills.

This role’s mission & overview: 

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Campminder, your mission will be to build new solutions to improve our reliability and velocity. Your depth of experience and automation skills will enable us to deliver the next evolution of products and services. You’ll thrive in this role because you enjoy impacting the big picture to create long-term solutions as well as the details, from planning architecture layouts and automated workflows, to designing secure environments to deploy our applications. Using your understanding of Infrastructure as Code, configuration management and cloud engineering, you’ll maintain and improve upon our existing automations, implement new pipelines, and create deployment strategies with high availability. It’s an exciting time to be a part of Campminder’s Engineering team, as we have started the automation of our new environments and pipelines to build efficient DevOps workflows.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer on our Platform team, you will: 

  • Work with multiple teams, across various technology stacks and products, to develop tools and infrastructure that improve our software development and delivery process
  • Be responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of technology that increases productivity, quality, and reliability of our systems
  • Create long-term automation solutions with infrastructure and workflows, enhancing existing pipelines, and continuously measuring application performance

We think a successful candidate will bring: 

  • 5+ years Cloud/DevOps experience, building and maintaining highly available production environments and using Azure cloud technologies
  • Strong experience with:
    • Elastic Kubernetes Services (AKS, EKS)
    • Creating automated CI/CD Pipelines with tools such as Jenkins and version control systems like Git
    • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform
    • Agile, Kanban, or Lean development methodologies
    • Improving platform observability and implementing optimizations to monitoring and alerting tools (Datadog preferred)
  • Problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit
  • Strong advocate of security principles and tools
