Chief Strategic Business Development
Dubai, United Arab EmiratesOur client, a large FMCG company, is looking for a Chief Strategic Business Development. You’ll be responsible for driving the commercial strategy, revenue growth, and overall business performance of the organization. You’ll be shaping the company’s market positioning, identifying growth opportunities, maximizing profitability and oversees all commercial functions, including sales, marketing, business development, customer success, and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities would include but not limited to

Review Market opportunities and assess with the market attractiveness.
Maximizing Existing and New Core Portfolio capabilities,
to Define strategic initiatives (market related) New Cos & Partner
Generate new ideas/concepts/ Draft opportunities based on cost-benefit analysis.
Create and execute commercial strategies aimed at accelerating growth.
Work with the marketing team to create strategies that boost the company and product awareness.
Manage the commercial and sales teams with the goal of improving key metrics.
Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, alliances, and new business opportunities to expand the company’s market presence and revenue streams.
Collaborate with the marketing and customer success teams to develop customer acquisition and retention strategies.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Logistics, Economics, Business Administration, or International Business.
Masters / MBA or another relevant post-graduate qualification is preferred.
Professional qualification, certification and/or membership in relevant Logistics professional bodies is preferred.
12-15 years of experience in the same field or relevant field.
Experience in Middle east is preferred.
Excellent leadership, managerial skills, and communication skills
Ability to influence without having formal managerial control.
Strong Customer relationship management skills.
General computer literacy.
