Bay Savings Bank USA Jobs Careers Description/Overview

The Fleet Service Manager will be responsible for effective driver utilization to maximize customer satisfaction through the coordination of equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administers and supports safety to ensure a safe workplace and to be in compliance with DOT regulations and multi-state laws
  • Coordinates equipment repair with appropriate maintenance staff to reduce mechanical failures and delays
  • Completes necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner to ensure an efficient and steady flow of information
  • Confidently makes good decisions under pressure
  • Communicates effectively both in person and on the phone with management and drivers, providing concise instruction or information
  • Keeps track of inventory

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to work 30 hours per week
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including day and/or evening hours
  • Must have a valid Massachusetts driver’s license
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • ASE certification preferred
  • Experience in fleet maintenance/management and supervision management
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of vehicle maintenance, collision repair, systems, components, and design
