ROLE SUMMARY

Work on the Private Sector accounts management cycle including identification and developing key stakeholders mapping. Handle all commercial trade agreements/activities end to end. Monitor the Supply and stock management to Maintain and develop supply chain excellence. Generate periodic reports of stocks, demand sales versus the financial plans. Provide feedback on potential opportunities, challenges, and work with the CFT on recommended actions. Manage a team of Key Account Associates/Specialists.

What you’ll do

Key Account Management:

Stakeholder identification, mapping & management for Private Hospitals, Chain Pharmacies, and wholesalers accounts.

Able to develop strong contact/relationships with key stakeholders & influencers in Key Accounts.

Collect information on trends, priorities, and needs of the accounts and institutions.

Work with the commercial teams to identify & execute key activities to drive the sales performance of brands.

Work collaboratively with X-functions to ensure enlisting of our Strategic Brands on formularies.

Provide analysis and understanding of business potential and situation Vs competitors.

Identifies risks & opportunities and works with X-functions to put plans to maximize AZ business accordingly, including generic threats.

Able to communicate the value proposition for AZ Products to key Stakeholders.

Follow up on the Commercial agreement annual contract and all the related processes.

Validate commercial agreements prices, FOC / discount, and other commercial terms offered & invoiced by the distributor on behalf of AstraZeneca.

Stakeholder Management:

Support internal stakeholders with forecasting or expected orders from Private sector key accounts.

Follow on the stocks & order levels of all AZ Brands on a monthly basis with purchasing & relevant departments to ensure the sustained supply of AZ Products & maintain the agreed inventory levels for patients.

Provide Feedback on the account level business dynamics and represent & own the account internally within AstraZeneca

Maintain strong relationships and alignment with distributor teams on sales and stock-related matters at the account level.

Market Access:

Understand issues/ trends/ needs arising from Private key accounts/ and other policymakers/influencers and the impact on AZ.

Support cross-functional team to execute market access plans for AZ portfolio.

Can communicate a brand value story to relevant stakeholders.

Participate with the cross-functional team to drive early and accelerated access of AZ brands into private accounts formularies.

Build professional relationships with private accounts payer and SH that develop into collaborative partnerships.

Able to follow up and support market access activities, and leverage such strategies with relevant stakeholders.

Supply and Stock Management:

Support internal stakeholders with forecasting or expected orders from key accounts.

Follow-on the stocks & orders levels of all AZ Brands on monthly basis with purchasing & relevant departments to ensure the sustained supply of AZ Products & maintain the agreed inventory levels for patients.

Generate monthly analysis reports of stocks, demand sales Vs budget, performance opportunities & challenges & recommended actions.

Maintain and develop supply chain excellence: ensure uninterrupted stock availability of all AZ brands in the account down to outlets medical stores/hospital pharmacies level.

Monitor the supply Vs actual demand, assist Private accounts in proper forecast and ordering timelines.

Negotiation:

Able to build solid relations with all types of internal and external stakeholders.

Has Excellent negotiation skills and can easily handle difficult discussions and able to reach an agreement with all types of stakeholders.

Able to reach consensus and achieve win-win arguments.

Have excellent presentation skills, highly influential in delivering the message.

Essential for the role

Minimum of three years of experience in Private Sector Pharmaceutical Sales, Commercial Trade roles.

Well-developed communication skills. Good command of written and spoken English

Forecasting skills & experience.

Proven experience in managing purchasers/ important stakeholders.

Prior involvement in projects & major activities.

UAE Pharma Market experience is an addition

Eligible to obtain a UAE work permit.
