Summary Description: The Programs Associate provides administrative support for AAUW’s Programs Department. In this role, the Associate assists in the planning and execution of Program events and supports the daily administrative and operational duties of the department. Areas of responsibility: Salary Negotiation programs: StartSmart, WorkSmart, WorkSmart Online, Money Smart; and Empower. The Programs Associate reports to the Director of Programs.

Essential Duties:
Program Operations:
Assist in Salesforce/Nimble administration, including creation and monitoring of events, contracts, volunteer facilitators and attendees within the platform
Develop and monitor salary negotiation, leadership and other workshop calendars
Track and process client/partner report requests and ensure timely delivery of information
Monitor and manage salary negotiation and programs email inboxes; respond to requests as assigned
Manage Programs Team tracker and participate in staff meetings or workgroups as assigned
Research issues related pay equity and program revenue opportunities
Monitor and disseminate business leads to the appropriate manager for revenue-generating opportunities
Track training license/partnership renewals and provide quarterly updates for renewal targets
Assist in relationship building with local/national promotional partners and other target audiences to broaden salary negotiation programs outreach
Assist in marketing and outreach plans
Monitor salary negotiation website pages and provide updates to content as needed
Maintain contact with appropriate staff to share information related to programs
Coordinate travel/lodging for in-person training when applicable
Provide staff/logistical support for training/events
Serve as onsite or virtual point of contact for training/events
Provide other related/comparable duties as required and assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
One- to three-years of work experience requirement, performing in a similar capacity requiring a high level of detail and organization
Proficiency using Microsoft Office 365 applications and virtual meeting platforms; knowledge and experience with Salesforce, Eventbrite project management systems and customer relationship management software preferred
Excellent ability to multitask and prioritize simultaneous projects
Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communications skills
Experience working effectively independently and as part of a team
Professional demeanor and conduct; knowledge of standard business practices
Team player with a willing and open attitude toward all tasks
Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and a commitment to inclusion and equity
Clear understanding and commitment to AAUW mission, goals and objectives
Compensation and Location
The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $53,000 (commensurate with experience) and it is offered along with a competitive benefits package. The position is based in Washington, DC.

AAUW is a non-profit organization whose headquarters and staff are based in Washington, D.C. This is an in-office position with the option of working remotely up to three days per week. In keeping with AAUW’s commitment to a safe working environment, AAUW will required selected candidates to submit proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 prior to extending a job offer.
