Required Qualifications
The applicant must have Ph.D., MD or equivalent degree in physiology or a closely related discipline.A minimum of five (5) years of significant physiology teaching experience in a university or academic health system.Proficiency in all areas of human physiology.A record of excellence in teaching and scholarship.Experience with several learning modalities such as lectures, problem-based learning (PBL), team-based learning, small group sessions, and journal clubs.
Experience in teaching to culturally diverse student population.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants who provide evidence of their successful involvement in the development and delivery of innovative approaches to teaching and who demonstrate their strong record of excellence in and commitment to teaching.
