ResponsibilitiesProvides direct social work services, including assessment, intervention, and recommendations to individual patients and their families. Participates in interdisciplinary activities, complies with departmental standards regarding attendance, documentation, continuous quality improvement, statistics, departmental policies and procedures, and the Code of Ethics. Keeps current with professional social work health care knowledge base and pursues further enhancement of job-related knowledge. Understands clinical operations, medical issues and complications in transplant patients.
Schedule: Full Time – 10 Hours/4 Variable Days per week, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications
A Master’s Degree in Social Work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education – Required.
Post-masters social work experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong relationship building skills. Excellent problem solving ability. Demonstrated skill in psychosocial assessments of patient / families, clinical interventions, and treatment planning with patients and families. Demonstrated work with interdisciplinary teams
Clinical Social Worker II – MSW
Clinical Social Worker III’s must possess a current license (L.C.S.W.) with the California Board of Behavioral Science.
