As a Culinary Experience Ambassador, you will play a pivotal role in curating an unforgettable dining journey for our guests. You will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Your primary focus will be to assist patrons both at the table and at the food counter, ensuring they have a delightful experience from the moment they walk in until they leave with smiles on their faces.
Responsibilities:
- Exceptional Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, take their orders attentively, and offer knowledgeable recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
- Tableside Assistance: Provide efficient and friendly table service, ensuring guests’ needs are met promptly and courteously.
- Food Counter Expertise: Skillfully manage the food counter, showcasing an array of delicious offerings, and engaging with guests to guide them through the available options.
- Order Accuracy: Accurately record and process orders, ensuring they are delivered correctly and in a timely manner.
- Food Preparation Support: Collaborate with the kitchen team to assist in food preparation, ensuring the highest quality and presentation standards.
- Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Upselling and Promotion: Suggest additional menu items, promotions, and special offers to enhance the guest’s experience and increase sales.
- Special Requests: Handle special dietary requests or any other guest preferences with utmost care and attention to detail.
- Cash Handling: Process payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Knowledge Sharing: Stay updated on menu changes, ingredients, and cooking methods to provide guests with up-to-date information.
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality service to guests.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or the food industry is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is desirable.
