We are looking for an HRIS & Payroll Manager who can administer US payroll throughout multiple states in accordance with all applicable Federal and State Laws.

We are creators of a magical event called Enchant Christmas. We have hosted over two million guests over the past 4 years and have experienced significant growth. While Christmas is a big part of what we do, it is only the beginning of where we intend to go.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

Leading your role and function as a Business Partner. Learning the needs of the business and how we can set up our systems to create ease and efficiency for the users and the P&C/Finance team.
Set up and maintain our HRIS system including timely updates, configuration, integration and proper administration.
Lead and own the transition from ADP Workforce Now to UKG.
Process bi-weekly (and sometimes weekly) multi-company payroll for all US permanent and seasonal employees.
Evaluate, create, and monitor People & Culture (HR) workflow and business processes within HRIS.
Recommend process/customer service improvements and innovative solutions related to HRIS.
Improve the process for onboarding and off-boarding seasonal and permanent staff.
Responsible for timely and accurate entries of all employee information and changes (new hires, terminations, deductions, per diems, expenses etc.).
Reconcile payroll accounts to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in year end payroll processing and 401(k) testing if applicable.
Develop and implement best practices, policies, and procedures.
Create and provide training support for new system users.
Continuously look for improvements in operational processes and implement change.
Be a subject matter expert and ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies within the United States and Canada.
Collaborate with all internal partners including but not limited to the People & Culture and Accounting Teams.
Collaborate with non-exempt leaders to ensure timecards of regular and seasonal employees are accurate.
Lean and own all benefits administration and compliance for Enchant Christmas, Labs, and Studios team.

You own your role as a true Business Partner. Creating solutions that are sustainable for growth and meet the needs of the business.
Up to date knowledge of payroll procedures, taxes, and related laws in the United States and ideally Canada as well.
You bring a sense of calm to the team but act with urgency.
Natural problem solver who always strives to find creative solutions.
Excellent organization, prioritization and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and are passionate about quality.
You enjoy connecting with others and creating meaningful relationships inside and outside the organization.
