Civil Technical Officer

About the role:

As a Technical Officer Civil, you will be responsible for helping us achieve the following:

The Technical Officer (Civil) will lead a team of supervisors, technicians, outsourced vendors and FM Contractors to undertake all preventive/corrective maintenance as well as supervision of new project works which includes inputs on design, site supervision/management and review of drawings, proposals, method statements, risk assessment and material submittals.
The incumbent should have good leadership and mentoring qualities to build a dynamic team to ensure that all capital assets within his jurisdiction are always in immaculate condition.
The Technical Officer will participate in the training and handover process for all new facilities and systems pertaining to his area of responsibility and any additional task assigned by the senior management.
To plan, schedule and implement a regular inspection regime for all civil equipment’s and infrastructure;
To plan and execute for all annual equipment/infrastructure audit;
To initiate work improvement projects;
To assist in the planning and formulation of in-house training modules for both technical and H & S (Health & Safety);
To ensure all works and processes abide to all building and safety regulations;
Manage and maintain equipment, materials and tools inventories for his department;
Manage and maintain records of all works, timesheets, attendance leave and training records;
Assist in the planning of annual budgeting;
Train employees in the duties;
Perform other department duties related to the position as directed by management;
Qualifications
About you:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Ability and familiar with the use of 3D/2D interior design software and AutoCAD.
5 years Maintenance Experience.
