 Housekeeping Coordinator · To get information on room status, departures, early arrivals, VIP arrivals.

· To give advice on urgent maintenance requests in guest rooms.

· To receive and record all telephone calls.

· To receive linen inventories.

· To maintain records of extra items such as ironing boards, hairdryer, hair dryers, baby cots given out.

· To write down and forward all guest requests to the related department for immediate action.

· To write down all checkout and check-in rooms with special attention to VIP rooms, flowers, extra beds, cribs, bed boards, etc., in the logbook and inform designated staff for immediate action.

· To follow up maintenance request to ensure immediate action.

· To liaise with Front Office on discrepancies reported by any of the Housekeeping staff and fill in the necessary formats.

· Enter all Lost & Found in the register and follows required procedure for the same.

· Keep stores clean, tidy, and well-arranged at all times.

· Helps the linen runners to distribute the linen.

· Attends Housekeeping communication meetings.

· To be fully aware of any relevant changes and events within the hotel and the local area.

· To follow and adhere to all systems and procedures as laid down by the Housekeeper.

· To adhere to all company policies relating to the Housekeeping Department

· To ensure that all tasks are performed as per the Departmental Standards of performance manual.
